Over the next few months, the State Government of São Paulo/Brazil is preparing to auction infrastructure concessions on three different areas. Altogether, the concessions should require BRL 10 Billion in investments.
Bids are expected on four highways, totaling approximately 1,6 thousand km of roads. Public notice has already been given for the auction of one of the highways, and the auction is expected to occur in February 2017. Public notice for the auction of the other three highways are expected for the second half of December.
The state government also intends to auction the concession of five local airports, all of them suitable for executive aviation, as well as transportation of city-to-city passengers. In this case, the contracts should have a 15-year term and require approximately BRL 2,7 Billion in investments.
