ANP-CADE’s Offical Release: resumption of public call of GASBOL
ANP and CADE published an official release to inform about the signing of Term of Commitment between ANP, Petrobras and TBG (GASBOL pipeline operator), with the purpose of resuming Public Call No. 01/2019 to offer capacity to gas transportation in the Bolivia-Brazil gas pipeline (Gasbol), operated by TBG. Thus, the publication of the results of the Guaranteed Bid phase was authorized, and the public call will continue with the procedures for signing the transmission service’s contracts.

ANP published a release to inform the beginning of the operation of CBIO platform, which biofuel producer or importer authorized by ANP may request the bookkeeping of Decarbonization Credits. It is a mechanism defined in ANP Resolution 802/2019, which establishes procedures for issuing Decarbonization Credits.

Injunction to prevent authorization for delivery of fuels by ANP is granted
An injunction was granted in the Writ of Mandamus filed by the union Minaspetro, in order to prevent ANP’s authorization for a pilot project related to delivery of fuels by app, unless safety criteria is fulfilled.
The writ was filed after ANP be aware of delivery activities being held by a gas station through the mobile app “GOfit” and authorize the activity as a pilot project, to be monitored by ANP in 360 days.
The judge understood that is forbidden to trade fuels in a place other than the gas station, according to ANP regulation. However, the judge recognizes that it is necessary to monitor a pilot project without a public consultation, as long as safety criteria is fulfilled.

CNPE approved the creation of the Committee for revitalization of E&P activities onshore. The committee aims to propose measures to improve market conditions and attract small to medium-size businesses in E&P activities onshore.
